1. Overview

Adverdict ("we", "us", "our") operates the website nebulaodyssey.com and an AI research agent that helps you study the proven advertisements of competitors and draft advertising campaigns in your own Meta (Facebook) ad account. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, what we access through Meta on your behalf, how we use it, and how you can have it deleted.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information (Google Sign-In): your name, email address and a unique user ID. Used to identify your account and secure access to your workspace.
  • Meta connection information: when you connect a Meta account, we store the OAuth access token issued by Meta, the connected Facebook user ID and name, and the identifiers of the Pages and ad accounts you grant us access to. The token lets our agent call the Meta Marketing API on your behalf.
  • Research data: the competitor ads we find in public ad libraries, the insights we extract from them, and the campaigns, ad sets and ads we draft in your ad account at your request.
  • Uploaded creatives: images or videos you upload so our agent can attach them to a drafted ad.

3. What we access through Meta — and what we never do

With your permission, we request Meta permissions such as ads_management, ads_read, business_management, pages_show_list and pages_read_engagement. We use them strictly to:

  • list the ad accounts and Pages you choose to use with Adverdict
  • read the public ad libraries to research competitor advertising
  • create paused campaigns, ad sets and ads in your ad account
  • upload the creatives you provide to your ad account
  • pause or delete objects in your ad account when you ask us to

We deliberately cannot and do not:

  • activate, start or resume any advertising — every object we create is paused, and our app contains no function that can make an ad go live. You review your draft in Meta Ads Manager and activate it yourself.
  • access, add or change any payment or billing method on your ad account
  • read your private messages, personal posts, friend lists or other personal Facebook data
  • run ads or take any action in your account that you did not request

You can revoke our access at any time via Facebook's Apps and Websites settings or by disconnecting inside Adverdict.

4. How we use your information

  • To authenticate you and secure your workspace
  • To connect your Meta ad account and act on it only as you direct
  • To perform the competitor research and campaign drafting you request
  • To respond to support inquiries

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it to advertise our own or third-party products to you.

5. Uploaded creatives

Images or videos you upload for use in a drafted ad are stored temporarily in encrypted third-party object storage (Cloudflare R2). Once Meta has ingested the creative into your ad account, our copy is deleted automatically. We do not build a library of your creatives or use them for anything other than the ad you asked for.

6. Third-party services

7. Data retention and deletion

  • Your account data and Meta connection are retained while your account is active.
  • Disconnecting your Meta account inside Adverdict deletes the stored access token and connection data immediately.
  • You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]; we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Disconnect Meta access and revoke tokens at any time

9. Security

Access tokens are stored server-side and used only to make the API calls you request. We do not store your Facebook or Google passwords, and we do not store payment card details.

10. Children

Adverdict is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date above.
